Woodland Trust Ancient Tree Inventory Mapping

Would you like to help record ancient, veteran, and notable trees in Cardiff?

We’re run a free training session for volunteers on how to map potential ancient, veteran, and notable trees on the Woodland Trust's Ancient Tree Inventory database.

The session will involve walking around Forest Farm and include live demonstrations of adding trees to the Woodland Trust database.

What do I need to bring?

Outdoor clothes, sensible shoes (e.g. walking boots or wellies), waterproofs, water, snacks, and your enthusiasm!

Do I need experience or tools?

No, we will provide all tools and training required. All ages and abilities welcome but please let us know if you need any particular support.
