Join us for a really wild weekend and discover the many species of birds, mammals, insects and plants that call Woodfield Park home. Enjoy guided walks, nature themed stalls and family activities.Help us to build a detailed picture of Woodfield’s wildlife by downloading the iNaturalist or Seek app onto your phone beforehand. Our experienced staff will be on hand to help you to record the wildlife you spot on the day.

Discover the bats of Woodfield Park on a family‑friendly guided evening walk with the South Yorkshire Bat Group.
Led by Louisa from the South Yorkshire Bat Group, this evening walk will introduce you to the bats of South Yorkshire. You’ll learn how bats use echolocation and have the chance to listen to their calls using bat detectors as we explore the park after dark.
Meeting point: In front of St Catherine’s House, Tickhill Rd, Balby, Doncaster DN4 8QP
