Wonderful Water Summer Camp

Spend a week with the Chemung River Friends enjoying wet & wild adventures. We will play, explore, and learn about our most precious resource- Water!

We will spend the week outside hiking, playing games, kayaking, and having fun! Campers will learn about the importance of water to our local eco system, why it's so crucial to keep in clean both for our use but also for the fish and other aquatic animals that call the river home. Each day we will exercise our bodies and our minds with hands-on water and river centered activities and fun take home projects to share with your family!

Campers should be dropped off between at 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. and should arrive wearing closed toed sneakers and weather appropriate clothes; and have with them a change of clothes (this is a water camp), sun screen, bug spray, a packed lunch Monday - Thursday, and an apetite for adventure! Please leave books, games, toys, etc. at home unless previously descussed with one of our staff members.

Parents are encouraged to join us on Friday for Family Day, where we’ll be making a lunch to enjoy together and campers will share everything they’ve learned throughout the week! Pickup is at 1pm, please arrive on time so our staff can assist in managing the pool goers. If you choose the swim option, campers will go to the town pool at 1 p.m. (weather permitting) and should be picked up at 2 p.m.
