Dip your toes in to the world of gravel riding!Join us on the 23rd of November for a ride through the beautiful back roads of inland Taranaki.
Starting in Strathmore (outside the War Memorial, at the start of Brewer Road), this 40km loop will visit the Makahu Tunnel and passes through picturesque Taranaki farmland. There is a mixture of gravel and sealed roads.
Be ready to ride at 10am.
WHAT TO BRING:
Front and rear light
Water & snacks
Sunscreen
Tools you may need in the event of a mechanical (quick link, spare tube, air pump etc.)
CAR POOL: If you'd like to catch a ride with another ride or if have a spot available in your vehicle for a rider and their bike, please contact the Taranaki Berm Babes or NPMTBC via Facebook or Instagram and we can put you in contact with other riders.
You DO NOT need a special gravel for this ride, your regular mountain bike will be perfect!
