Women In Wine: Somewhere Wines Tasting

Join us for the release of Somehwere Wines at The Company We Keep, a St. Clair West café and bottle shop. Amanda from Somewhere Wines will introduce us to her newest vintage of her beautiful, low intervention Ontario Wines. We will taste her 2025 Vintage release including her first ever white wine, each wine will be matched with a bite to show some complementary and some contrasting pairings.
Somewhere Wines is a small winery working with vineyards across the Niagara region to make low-intervention wines. Without a physical vineyard, Amanda has the freedom to work with different grapes and regions each year, embracing the unknown and its possibilities.
While not rooted in one specific location, the name Somewhere captures a sense of place that is both familiar and intriguing, the way a friend might say, "I know Somewhere." It's a reminder that great wine is about the experience, the people you share it with, and the places it takes you, wherever that might be.

The event will include a guided wine tasting and presentation on the backgrounds of each bottle, with an informal discussion and Q&A. The presented wines will be available for purchase by the glass, and bottles will be sold at an event only price for you to take home. Both industry and non-industry folks are welcome to attend!
Unpretentious, beginner-friendly wine tasting. If you are an expert, or really want to learn more about wine, this tasting is for you.
Tickets for the event are $45 online and $50 at the door. As our capacity is limited, we highly recommend booking a spot in advance, as spots will not be held for walk-ins if reservations fill up. One ticket acts as a cover fee for one person, and includes the wine tasting and snack pairings. Please reach out if you have any dietary restrictions. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase.
