A Pride Night of Wine and Art: with Wine by Merrin and United Contemporary
About this Event
Enjoy a guided wine tasting* and talk by queer-owned local business Wine By Merrin as you are walked through the June-July show: - curated by Adrien Sun Hall. The show explores the alternate temporalities of queer and trans experience – ways of inhabiting time that unfold alongside, against, or beyond dominant narratives of development, productivity, or progress.
Let Merrin take you on a journey through a rainbow of European wines (4 tastes), while enjoying the artwork of Steven Beckly, Camille Charbonneau, Rami George, Dylan Glynn, Jordan King, Natia Lemay, Oluseye, and Ry Van Der Hout.
Presented during Pride Month, this exhibition celebrates the breadth and vitality of contemporary queer and trans artistic practices while creating space for reflection on the many ways queer communities navigate time, transformation, and becoming.
