Want to give back to the park and our trail network?
Then come along to one of our Winter Working Bees!
Our working bees are a combination of Kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and Trail Karma (track rebuilding, maintenance, or tree and flax trimming). If you want to get involved and lend a hand, we'd love to see you there.
The Details:
When: 9:00 AM
Meeting Point: Meet us at the Redoubt Rd carpark gate (beside the toilets) at 9:00 AM, or down at the club’s container shortly after.
What to bring: We’ll let you know ahead of time what we’ll be doing and what tools to bring. Don't worry if you don't have any, as we have plenty to share! Just make sure to bring a pair of gloves and wear sturdy footwear.
As always, there’s a BBQ afterward around 12:30 PM for a beverage or two and a good chinwag.
