Join the Friends of Bayside Drive Reserve – Volunteer Working Bee!
Come along and be part of an energetic and friendly group of volunteers at Bayside Drive Reserve. We’ve been busy clearing previously planted areas so that native trees can thrive, and we’d love your help! It’s a fun and easy way to give back to the environment, plus we’ll have morning tea to keep everyone refreshed.
This is a great opportunity for a family outing – while helping out, you can also enjoy eel and bird watching in the reserve. It’s a wonderful chance to spend time in nature while making a difference!
Everyone is welcome, whether you can stay for an hour or the whole session. We’re happy to have you for as long as you can make it!
What to bring/wear:
Gardening gloves
Water bottle
Snacks
Sturdy footwear (shoes, boots, or gumboots)
Dress for the weather
All tools are provided, and of course, there’s morning tea!
When: First Saturday of every month
Where: Meet at the playground near the reserve entrance, 7-9 Crestview Place, Browns Bay.
