About this Event
Join two ISA Certified Arborists, Benjamin Moore and David Campeotto, to learn industry tips and folk tricks to more easily identify our woody friends in their dormant state. We'll focus on bark and bud traits as well as overall canopy structure and tree profiles to definitively identify, or set you on the right track towards recognizing deciduous tree species. This hands-on class will give you practical knowledge to more confidently identify trees in winter, whether for personal interest or professional growth. Bring your curiosity, questions, and a notebook to capture insights from books and in the field! We'll start indoors but finish with a walk through the woods, so wear adequate attire to stay comfy.
