Winter Solstice Ceremony: Return of the Light

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, a sacred pause where darkness reaches its peak before the gradual return of light. On this evening, the Waxing Crescent Moon emerges, offering the first glimmer of light which is a symbol of hope, renewal, and new beginnings.

This trauma-informed, heart-centered ceremony invites participants at the Moksha Conscious Community to reflect, release, and set intentions for the year ahead. Through cacao, sound healing, fire rituals, and lunar alignment, participants will reconnect with their inner light, clarity, and purpose, while experiencing the grounding support of community and nature.

Participants can expect a holistic, immersive journey through mind, body, and spirit. What to expect:

• Trauma-informed container with emphasis on consent, emotional safety, and presence
• Candle-lit, warm, and inviting environment
• Guided breathwork and meditation for grounding
• Optional journaling or reflection to set personal intentions

• Sharing of plant medicine cacao to open the heart and cultivate gratitude
• Guided meditation and intention-setting aligned with the Waxing Crescent Moon

• A Fire & Light ritual Symbolizes release, transformation, renewal, Clears stagnant energy and strengthens personal power. It Engages senses for deep embodiment and reflection

This ceremony is lovingly held by Azim Nobeebaccus, founder of Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC, whose work is dedicated to empowering hearts, guiding transformation, and creating sacred, trauma-informed spaces for connection and renewal. Joining him is Samantha Nobeebaccus, a women’s empowerment advocate and feminine space-holder for her Wild, Free & Empowered women’s circles, who brings intuitive guidance, gentle leadership, and nurturing presence to the ceremony.

Together, Azim and Samantha hold a safe, conscious container for participants to release, reflect, and reconnect with their inner light, supporting both personal growth and collective energy in this sacred Winter Solstice gathering.
