The Winter Poetry Festival runs at participating Auckland Libraries venues from July 18 to mid-August.
Te Atatū Peninsula Library will be holding these three WPF events:
- Sat July 18, 4pm - 6pm, Poetry workshop with Anne Kennedy
- Sat July 25, 4pm - 6pm, Poetry workshop with Grace Iwashita- Taylor
- Sat Aug 8, 4pm - 6pm, Open mic
See the discussion panel for individual event details.
The open mic is a safe and fun space where anyone can jump on the microphone and share poetry, whether it’s your own masterpiece or an existing favourite poem. You don’t have to be a poet to attend so come along and enjoy reading or listening to creativity transferred from the pen to the mic.
Please RSVP your interest - limited spaces for the workshops.
