About this Event
Follow Barefoot Joel along the Horseshoe Loop Trail to the edge of the 400-acre wildlife corridor and Native American village site in California's oldest regional park. We'll stop frequently to observe, appreciate and identify wildflowers and wildlife, including the locally rare Catalina mariposa lily, lupine, northern harrier, grasshopper sparrow, black-headed grosbeak and other seasonal favorites. DIFFICULTY: Easy for experienced hikers. Moderate for inexperienced hikers. 2-3 miles round-trip. Full sun exposure. A few hundred feet of elevation gain. Uneven terrain. Some steep sections. Not recommended for those with medical or mobility issues.
