2nd Annual YRCS Wildflower RunMay 18, 2024
In-Person Registration Begins at 8am
The 5K Walk/Run Begins at 9am and Ends at 11am
The Wildflower Run is a community event that supports the YRCS Class of 2026 and allows the community to come together to experience a 5K Walk/Run on the Wildflower Trail from the YRCS campus. This event is meant to be fun and inclusive - no running experience needed! All are welcome to participate at a speed they can enjoy. This year we also have an alternate 2K walk/stroller option for those who would like a more accessible course.
This year we also have Wildflower Run T-Shirts for sale! The shirt will feature the Wildflower 5K logo shown above, designed by the lovely Brianna French. Please pre-order your T-Shirt by May 1st. T-Shirts are available for purchase under "Tickets" and sizes are selected on the payment page.
This fundraiser supports the YRCS field fund and the current 6th grade class in funding the many adventures they have planned over the next two years. It is also an opportunity for the school and their families and communities to gather and enjoy the beautiful spring together.
Registration opens at 8am, and the walk/run begins at 9am. Please purchase tickets here or at the event. The course will begin and end at the YRCS campus. We will also have some baked goods for sale before and after the run, so plan to bring a few dollars to support the class further.
We ask that you register ahead, as well as fill out a waiver here for each participant. We will have paper waivers available on campus as well. And, while we do love pups, please leave all pets at home for this event.
All proceeds go to the general YRCS field fund and to the class of 2026, ensuring all students access to the opportunity to explore the world around us.
