About this Event

Join us for a sacred Samhain gathering as we honour the turning of the wheel, the thinning of the veil, and the transition into the darker half of the year. This evening is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and gather in community for reflection, release, and renewal.

Samhain is a powerful time for letting go, honouring what has passed, and planting intentions for what is yet to come. Together, we will create a safe and nurturing space to connect with ourselves, one another, and the natural world.

What to Expect

Forest Bathing
We will begin with a gentle, mindful walk through the woods, allowing the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest to soothe the mind and ground the body.

Community Fire Circle
Gather around the warmth of the fire as we share reflections, intentions, and wisdom. The fire circle offers a sacred space for connection, transformation, and presence.

Fire Ritual
Through a guided Samhain fire ritual, you’ll be invited to release what no longer serves you—old patterns, emotions, or energies—by offering them to the flames. This creates space for renewal and intention as we move into the darker season.

Women’s Circle
In this sacred circle, we will connect deeply with one another through shared presence and reflection. This is a space to be seen and heard, to offer support, and to honour the feminine wisdom within us all.

Journaling & Reflection
You’ll be offered gentle journaling prompts to explore your inner landscape during this season of change. No writing experience is needed.

Sensory Tea Meditation & Ritual
We will close the evening with a grounding sensory tea meditation using a seasonal herbal blend, inviting stillness and integration through mindful awareness of the senses.

Important Details:

  • The meeting point for the event is at the car park at Duddingston Kirk on Duddingston Road West, directly across from Holy Rood High School. The entrance to the car park is just before the turnoff to Old Church Lane. After parking, we’ll take a brief walk of a few minutes to reach the nature reserve.
  • What to wear: Please wear, walking boots, waterproofs, and appropriate layer clothing.
  • What to bring: you may wish to bring a thermos, of tea, a cup, a pen, a journal, snacks of your choice
  • We will run the session in all weathers except high winds or extreme cold. If the session is cancelled you will be contacted with as much notice as possible.

This event is intentionally kept small, with spaces limited to 12 women, to ensure that we can fully honour each attendee and create a safe, sacred space for deep connection.

Spaces are limited—reserve your spot now to be part of this transformative experience.

I look forward to celebrating Samhain with you in circle

Warmly,

Diana x
