For a fun and friendly introduction into nature's spring delights, join us for a walk with local forager, Amy. 🙌 Do scroll down for all the info you need...🌳We'll discover edible and useful spring plants, with flavours ranging from coconut to garlic. Get hands on as we sniff, examine and taste our way though woodland near Canterbury.
Expect to build your confidence in identifying wild plants and learn best practice in foraging safely and sustainably.
👨👩👧👦Suitable for: All ages and ability levels. We use mostly footpaths, otherwise on fairly level cut grass. Can be adapted for wheelchair use.
🥾How to book: Message the forager, Amy here or at 07425139438 to reserve your place. All places must be pre-booked and we often do reach capacity before the day.
🗺️Meeting point: THE SECRET WOODS less than 30 min drive from central Canterbury and on a bus route. The location is revealed on booking to protect the site from possible commercial wild garlic foraging - we harvest small amounts for personal use.
🎟️Price: Under 12 - FREE with a paying adult, teen: £5 and adult £20. Up to two children may accompany each paying adult.
