Wicked Craft: Bazaar and Craft Fairs are a seasonal market series that focuses on supporting women-owned businesses and artists. It is operated by Rae Loft at the Bakery Building and inspired by the earthy majestic arts of older times and our divine strength and creativity. We are celebrating women & womxn from all walks of life. Our low cost booth options provide an accessible and affordable market access opportunity to artists in an inviting indoor space.
Food, full bar, goddess themed drinks, non alcoholic beverages, & music are offered by the venue. This event is family friendly, with a little bit of magic.
MABON
As the days begin to cool and the light softens into shades of amber and gold, Mabon arrives like a quiet exhale. It is the moment when day and night stand in perfect balance, each holding equal space, reminding us that life, too, is made of both light and shadow.
In this season, the fields are full and heavy with the second harvest. Fruits hang ripe on the trees, vegetables are gathered from the earth, and there is a sense of fullness all around. It is a time when the work of the year begins to show its rewards—not in a rush, but in a steady, satisfying way.
Long ago, people honored this time by gathering what remained of the harvest and offering thanks for the abundance they had received. It wasn’t just about food, but about recognizing all that had come to fruition—efforts, intentions, relationships, and growth. Mabon became a moment to pause and truly take stock of what had been created.
There is a gentle stillness woven into this season. The bright, outward energy of summer begins to turn inward, inviting reflection. The balance of light and dark encourages us to look at both what has gone well and what we are ready to release. It’s not a time of loss, but of understanding—of making peace with the natural rhythm of change.
Mabon reminds us that every cycle includes both gathering and letting go. As the earth prepares for rest, we are invited to do the same—to hold gratitude for what we have, to share our abundance where we can, and to step forward with a sense of balance and calm.
