Whispers From Our Ancestors

Join in exploring and honoring our ancestors with SoulCollage®. Listening intuitively for messages they have for us can be enlightening, meaningful, and also fun as you get to know your ancestors better. You are your ancestors’ wildest dreams! We’ll intuitively make SoulCollage® cards to represent the ancestors of our choosing. After card making we will experience a guided imagery meditation that will help us listen for the whispered messages from our ancestors. We’ll celebrate our messages by using a vintage form of communication - letter writing. A large selection of vintage images will be available for your use, however if you have a photograph of a particular ancestor you would like to use on one of your cards, bring it along and we can make a copy right here in my studio so your original is not cut or glued. This will be a magical meaningful experience. I hope you can join me!

About your facilitator:

Shannon Fitzgerald has been a SoulCollage® Facilitator since 2016 when she trained with Catherine Anderson. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a second area of concentration in Art, from North Carolina Central University.

Shannon is a published Author of children’s books and collage imagery books. She is also a mixed media Illustrator. Some of Shannon’s children’s books are bilingual Spanish/English. She is an Artist; focusing on Acrylic painting, mixed media, and photography holding solo exhibits in North Carolina galleries.

Shannon has been trained in a variety of energy medicine modalities holding certifications ranging from Reiki Master, to Quantum Crystalline Energy, Feng Shui, and Shamanism. She joyfully embraces being a lifelong learner.

Coming from an Educator background Shannon is most at home teaching, facilitating, and holding space in workshops and retreats to allow participants to deepen their body, mind, and spiritual growth. She offers SoulCollage® playshops (Introductory, Open Studios Card Making, Ancestors, Suits, etc) and Creative Play workshops both online and in person at her home studio in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
