About this Event
Slow down, get your hands in clay, and experience the pottery wheel in this 4-week beginner series. You'll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing - centering, pulling, and shaping - while building your skills week by week.
Guided step by step, you'll create multiple pieces and return to glaze your work, making each one truly your own in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.
✨ What to expect:
Introduction to wheel throwing (centering, pulling, shaping)
Step-by-step guidance across four sessions
A dedicated glazing session to finish your pieces
Your own handmade ceramics to take home (after firing)
✨ 4-week plan:
Week 1: Get comfortable with the wheel, learn centering, and make your first forms
Week 2: Build control and create new pieces with improved shaping
Week 3: Trim and refine your pieces, add details and textures
Week 4: Glaze your work and prepare it for final firing
✨ No experience needed - just bring your curiosity and willingness to get a little messy.
Perfect for beginners, creative dates, or anyone looking to unwind and build a new skill.
