About this Event

The NKBA KBIS Aloha Chapter, partnered with Cambria, is excited to introduce our first Wellness in Hawaii pilot event — an afternoon into evening experience created to bring together design education, creativity, connection, and community.

Join us on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Plus Interiors at Kahala Mall for a special Wellness in Design event featuring nationally recognized NKBA speaker Paula Kennedy, CMKBD.

This event is designed to be more than a typical CEU. It is an opportunity to learn, reconnect, get inspired, and spend meaningful time with our local design community.

🌿 CEU #1: Ignite Creativity
Paula’s most requested and interactive CEU. This session is designed to help creative professionals get unstuck, spark new ideas, and reconnect with the creative energy behind great design.

🌿 CEU #2: Wholistic Design
A wellness-focused CEU exploring how thoughtful design can support well-being, daily living, comfort, function, and healthier homes.

🥂 Pau Hana to follow
Stay after the CEUs for heavy pūpūs, drinks, networking, and community connection.

Event Schedule
2:00 PM — Event starts, lunch pūpūs/snacks + getting settled
2:30 PM — CEU #1: Ignite Creativity
3:45 PM — 15-minute break
4:00 PM — CEU #2: Wholistic Design
5:30–8:00 PM — Pau Hana with heavy pūpūs & drinks

Early Bird Pricing available through August 30
NKBA Members: $25 per CEU / $45 for both
Non-Members: $35 per CEU / $60 for both

Prices will increase after August 30th! RSVP & purchase your tickets early! Tickets are sold for either CEU separately, or both at a discounted price, for NKBA Members or for Non-NKBA Members. The Pau Hana tcket (free) must be added if you plan on staying for the Pau Hana.
