Charm School (a bead workshop) with Elaine Imoto
About this Event
Join instructor Elaine Imoto for a fun, hands-on beading workshop at Waikīkī Community Center. Using a carefully curated assortment of beads and findings in beautiful shades of purple, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind charm to decorate your keys, handbag, or backpack.
Choose between two designs:
Option 1: Charm with Handsewn Silk Balls
Create a detailed charm featuring stuffed silk balls that you will sew yourself. Participants selecting this option should already know how to sew a basic running stitch.
Option 2: Basic Beaded Charm
Create a simpler charm without the hand-sewn silk balls. This is a great choice if you prefer not to sew.
All materials and instructions are included. With only six spaces available, Elaine will provide personal guidance as you assemble your charm and bring your design to life.
