About this Event
Stay Open Oʻahu helps small businesses prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters by connecting them to nonprofits, government partners, and support organizations. This City and County of Honolulu program provides disaster preparedness workshops, training, and an online directory of response resources.
The Stay Open Oʻahu Business Resilience Workshop is a two-hour, in-person event for event for small business owners and managers, offering participants an opportunity to learn more about the Stay Open Oʻahu program, connect with fellow small businesses, and explore the key components enhancing the resilience of local businesses before, during, and after disruptive events.
Participants will hear a program overview, take part in interactive networking activities, and receive practical planning tools and templates they can use immediately. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a stronger understanding of the Stay Open Oʻahu program, the key actions they can take to enhance their business’ resilience, and the broader ecosystem of tools and organizations helping Oʻahu businesses build resilience.
