Wednesday Wellbeing Walks - Southampton

• Not sure? ever been for a walk and got back and wished you never went?
  

Then sign up for our Wednesday Wellbeing Walks!
These free lunchtime walks are a fantastic way to improve your mental health, socialise with other people (face to face) and discover Southampton’s award-winning green spaces.

Run by Mark Darcy from markdarcy.co.uk, each Wednesday walk will last no longer than 30 minutes and start and end in the same place. Go at your own pace, listen to nature and connect with other people. It’s an ideal way to get away from your office or workspace, and you’ll still have time to enjoy your lunch too. However, please feel free to bring your lunch with you to enjoy afterwards with others, or by yourself if you prefer.

Meeting location:
Meet at the Peace Fountain in East Park (also known as Andrews Park) at 12.45pm. See pictures below!

A message from Mark:
The purpose is to bring people together and help combat loneliness and mental health issues while having meaningful conversations and connections. I encourage everyone to bring an open mind, and a willingness to meet new people and make lasting friendships as well as learn something along the way.

These wellbeing walks are suitable for everyone and are a great way to get out of the office, breathe in some fresh air and make use of our Green Flag-awarded parks.🌳

Looking after children whilst working at home? Bring them along!

Have a small furry friend? Bring them along too!

How do I sign up?
We recommend signing up via these Eventbrite links so its in your diary and you don't forget (you should get a reminder). However you can simply show up on the day!

We kindly ask that if for any reason you cannot make it please cancel your registration at least 48 hours before the walk. This will mean someone else can take your space and enjoy the benefits.
