Immigration and Compliance Enformcement (ICE) operate in the UK. In fact, between October 2024 to September 2025, 21,917 immigration raids took place - a 38% increase on the previous year. And London is a particular hotspot.
The function of raids is to exclude and disrupt the lives of migrants, their families, businesses and communities. They spread violence, fear and mistrust. They make everyone less safe. But together we can resist.
Migrant Rights Network, Waltham Forest Migrant Action & Waltham Forest Anti-Raids Network are partnering for this workshop to raise awareness about the situation in Waltham Forest and explore how we keep our community safe.
