WE Bike To Rockaway Beach
About this Event
Beat the heat and join us for a beach ride to Rockaway Beach in Queens. WE'll cruise the 14 (mostly flat) miles down Bedford Avenue, along the Belt Parkway bike path, and over the Gil Hodges Bridge to get to the beach. This ride is one-way, so folks can spend as much time as they like in the sun and surf. If you're not wanting to bike home, it's a short ride to the A train, or you can try the Rockaway Ferry to Pier 11 in Manhattan.
Special thanks to Adam White of Adam White Law who will have tents waiting for us at Rockaway Beach!
Please bring: Your helmet and water, plus a lock and any gear you might need for the beach (cash for the food trucks, bathing suit and towel, and sunblock)!
