WE Bike to Monumental Women

Did you know there are at least 125 statues of historical figures in NYC but only six of them are of real women? Join WE Bike NYC as WE ride around Manhattan to visit these monuments and learn a bit about the women who inspired their metal counterparts.

WE’ll meet at the Women's Rights Pioneers Monument in Central Park, ride north to Harlem and make our way back down to Bryant Park. The route will be approximately 9 miles, with a photo opp and mini-history lesson stop at each statue. WE'll be riding mostly on bike lanes but participants should be comfortable biking in traffic.

Please bring water and your helmet. (Helmets are required.)
