Watt-a-Strike Electric Camp and Behind the Scenes Bowling

Youth ages 9-18 are invited to help us complete the circuit at Watt-a-Strike camp. Dive into the power behind everyday fun as campers explore the basics of electricity through hands-on kit building, then head behind the scenes of a real bowling alley to uncover the mechanics that keep the lanes rolling—capped off with a pizza lunch and a round of bowling to put their new knowledge in motion.The registration fee is $30. Participants should bring a reusable water bottle, a snack, closed-toed shoes, and socks.
Transportation & Scheduling notes
Participants will be transported from Dare County Cooperative Extension to the OBX Bowling at 200 W Satterfield Landing Rd, Nags Head, NC 27959. Parents & Guardians can pick up their camper at the bowling alley by 3:30pm or at the Dare County Center at 4:00pm.
