Exploring the careers that protect our land, water, and wildlife—and discovering why our community depends on them.
About this Event

Over two immersive days, youth step into the world of natural resources as they sample real career paths, meet professionals in the field, and explore the science behind protecting the land, water, and wildlife around us. Through hands‑on activities and local field experiences, campers discover how natural resource management keeps our community healthy, resilient, and thriving — and why their generation’s curiosity and stewardship matter. This camp is for ages 9-18 and registration fee is $25. This may be paid online through eventbrite. Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2026 program year. The link to do that is https://v2.4honline.com/ . We will gladly help you complete your online registration and 4-H Enrollment. Please feel free to call us at 252-475-9245, and we will walk you through the process.

Participants should bring a reusable water bottle, closed toed shoes and a non-refrigerated lunch each day. Hats and sunscreen are encouraged.
