Discover Elkhart’s origins as a small village at the confluence of three important waterways as you experience history on location with a tour that highlights the forces that shaped our city and its industries. This tour, part of the 175 Series, will take you on a journey through Elkhart's history, following the banks of the Elkhart and St. Joseph rivers, to the railroad crossing, and back up the length of Main Street. Witness the shifts in technology, business, and architecture and discover how Elkhart became the city we know today, from waterways to railways and beyond.
