A chip-timed race celebrating our community and its schools while raising support for those in need!
Join us on Saturday, August 22, 2026 8:00AM at Elkhart High School’s Rice Field for a spirited 5K run/walk and 1-mile family-friendly run/walk sponsored by the Full Service Community Schools Program of Elkhart and Concord Schools and the Elkhart Salvation Army!
We encourage the whole family to come and participate in this fun event. If 3 household members purchase Individual Registrations, then all other household members can participate for free!
Event Highlights:
- 5K competitive run/walk & 1-mile family-friendly run/walk
- Awards Ceremony
- Raising support to assist local families
- Stay after enjoying the morning football game
Together, we can run/walk to help provide hope for people in need and make a difference - one step at a time!

- School awards: Top District & Top School
- 5K Awards: Top Male and Female Overall
- Top 3 Males and Females in each age group: 10 & Under, 5-year increments from 11 - 79 and then 80+ group.
- Ribbon for all 1-mile race participants
