The prestigious MELBOURNE SALSA GALA BALL returns on SATURDAY 21st NOVEMBER at the Majestic Thornbury Theatre.
This year’s Gala Ball theme is …'VIVA LAS VEGAS' A tribute to the icons.
A spectacle showcasing the most dynamic and exciting entertainers to set foot in Las Vegas. Take a musical journey to experience all of the glitz, glamour and extravagant costumes that made Vegas...Vegas but with a Latin twist. An event not to be missed!
The event will consist of an early dance class, social dancing to a live big band Orchestra, DJ’s, best dressed competitions, and of course our Student Performance Teams and Pro-Ams.

Afraid of the stage? Don’t worry because you won’t be alone, you'll be dancing with friends, your instructors will be in your corner and the crowd will be cheering you on and celebrating you!
There are 6 teams to choose from, do one or do them all.

This year, we’re hitting the stage with a fresh, high-energy take on “Hit the Road Jack”, bringing one of music’s most iconic classics to the bright lights of Las Vegas. 🎤♠️
Under Abdo Dalloul’s direction, you’ll dive into exciting partner work 🤝, stylish shines 👣, eye-catching tricks 🔥, and plenty of performance moments guaranteed to entertain both dancers and the audience.
So polish those dance shoes, bring your biggest stage smile 😎, and get ready to roll the dice on an unforgettable Vegas adventure.

CUBAN SALSA RUEDA INT/ADV PERFORMANCE TEAM with Abdo Dalloul

This year, our Cuban Salsa Rueda team brings a lively new Cuban salsa version of the timeless classic “L-O-V-E” to the Vegas stage. It’s elegant, playful, energetic—and impossible not to smile along with. 💃🕺
Led by Abdo Dalloul, you’ll enjoy fun partner work 🤝, creative rueda formations 🔄, fast-paced calls 🎶, and the teamwork that makes Cuban Salsa so addictive.
Expect plenty of laughs, great music, and that unique rueda energy that keeps everyone moving from beginning to end.

“Broadway Vegas ” brings smoky jazz, Class and rhythm with a punch. Combining salsa, mambo, and fosse jazz arrangements.Think broadway Vegas meets modern cabaret — top hats, tails, canes and razor sharp charisma. A performance that is theatrical and Unforgettable. Chicago was a broadway sensation with Catherine Zeta-Jones redefining what a headline act could look like in the 2000s.
Want to sharpen, glamourise your dancing skills and add a little Jazz flavour? This performance course is for you!

BACHATA SHINES INT/ADV PERFORMANCE TEAM with Julian Beltran & Kiki Lopez

Get ready to hit the stage for this year’s Melbourne Salsa End of Year Showcase, Viva Las Vegas!
Kiki & Julian are bringing a fresh, dynamic take to the stage with a performance project inspired by the musicality, connection, and effortless flow of Bachata.
In a new, fast-paced 5-week format, you’ll dive deep into body movement, styling, and movement quality, creating an authentic, high-energy routine built to dazzle the audience.
​Every rehearsal is crafted to be more than just learning choreography—it’s an opportunity to elevate your dancing as a whole. You'll gain practical techniques and expression that you can take straight to the social dance floor long after the curtain falls.
Join us for an unforgettable journey to grow as a dancer, challenge yourself, and shine with an amazing team!

Course Guidelines for students:
- Students are advised to not miss more than 2 lessons.
- If you miss a lesson we advise you catch up with a private lesson.
- Please arrive 10mins early every week to stretch and warm up.
