Dadirri is a Ngangiwumirr practice shared by Dr. Miriam-Rose, who says...
“ Close your eyes and feel Country breathing with you.”
Dr Miriam Rose explains the cultural practice of Dadirri by the Ngangiwumirr people, is a contemplative practice of listening deeply to the sounds, stirrings and whisperings of the land. It is where one sits in stillness to listen, observe, smell, feel and connect the land.
Dadirri is a way of being that is passed down through generations, and although "Dadirri belongs to Country — but it can guide hearts and minds everywhere” (Dr Miriam Rose).
Dadirri is healing, as it enables one to reconnect with oneself, others through the power of the land.
The Walking in Dadirri Group meet monthly to practice being with Gaia, connecting with her and receiving her healing energy. During these walks I share energetic exercises and offer energetic healing at no extra charge. 🥾👣🌏✨
All are welcome. No prior experience required.
Please bring a water bottle, hat and comfortable walking shoes.
All walks will be slow paced and on moderate to even ground. This is not about fitness. It's about connection.
The May walk is at Settlers Common, Bedfordale. It is wheelchair accessible.
We meet in the main carpark at 9:15am for a 9:30 start.
