Join us for a day of fun and fundraising for world peace!
We will gather at Orchid Heights Park Shelter in Middleton. We will engage in a guided meditation, walk together through the beautiful Pheasant Branch Conservancy and then return to the shelter for a picnic!
Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $20,000
All funds raised will support KMC Madison’s efforts to help people in the Midwest develop peaceful minds. By increasing our own inner peace, we can bring about world peace.
As our founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (Geshe-la) says,
“Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.”
A donation of any size contributes to KMC Madison’s dedication to World Peace. This fundraising walk will help us insulate our roof and reduce the environmental impact of our building so we can remain a refuge to the people of the Midwest for years to come.
Your donation helps people develop inner peace through learning Buddha’s teachings. These teachings create a ripple effect in our community; bringing peace to each person who hears them and then shares them with their friends, neighbors and world. Help create a positive ripple in your community.
Adult registration: $35 (includes a t-shirt & picnic)
Child registration: $15 (does not include t-shirt)
