Get ready for WordFest! Take part in a poetry workshop with a difference. Join the Pontefract Castle team and Lindsey Marie from Black Horse Poets Society for a welcoming poetry workshop and walk. Mysterious and mythical wordcrafting awaits...
We’ll start at the bandstand with a brief introduction. We'll then head out on a walk around some different points in the castle grounds. At each stop you’ll be given creative prompts and encouragement to develop your own poetry and ideas. You’ll have the chance to share what you have written or listen to other people’s work.
If you’ve ever wanted to get creative with words, but not sure where to start, then this is the workshop for you!
This workshop is for adults 18+. There is also a separate workshop for families with children aged 10+.
