WAAVE Home Storytelling: AAPI Womens Circle

WAAVE's invites you and your story to come home.

In September and October 2026, Wisconsin Asian American Voices for Empowerment's storytelling work moves from collective workshops to home circles.

This event is open to all, centering self-identified AAPI women looking to share and connect with each other's stories. The space will be hosted by WAAVE's E Her in partnership with the Hmong American Women's Association at their office in Milwaukee, WI.

The Hmong American Women's Association (HAWA) was founded in 1993 and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1996 in Milwaukee, WI. Our mission is to organize Southeast Asian women, Girls, Queer and Trans people to champion gender justice and collective liberation. Our values are grounded in the leadership of Southeast Asian Women, Girls, Queer and Trans people, and moving in alignment with other BIPOC women, and social justice movements.
