Government contracts can create valuable, long-term opportunities for small businesses—but knowing where to find them and how to navigate the procurement process can be challenging.

This practical workshop will introduce participants to the process city, county, and state agencies use to solicit services and award contracts. The session will focus on what businesses should understand before preparing a proposal, including how to locate opportunities, navigate procurement portals, evaluate eligibility requirements, and determine whether to pursue an opportunity independently or with partners.
