Volunteer at the 2026 Garden & Green Living Expo!Support PBS Wisconsin's mission to enrich, educate, and entertain diverse audiences of all ages by volunteering at the 2026 Garden & Green Living Expo on February 13-15 at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI.
The Garden & Green Living Expo is a community educational event and fundraiser hosted by PBS Wisconsin and the UW-Madison - Extension Horticulture Program. This three-day event celebrates the latest trends in gardening, landscaping, and green living with more than 100 free educational seminars and demonstrations. It takes more than 250 volunteers to help make the show a success. We offer 30 diverse volunteer roles—including ticket taker, handstamper, ticket sales, greeter, seminar assistant, and more—with most volunteer shifts between three to four hours long.
Volunteers will receive a one-day admission ticket and parking pass on the day(s) you volunteer so you can fully enjoy the show—including the free education offerings and Exhibitor Mall—before or after your shift.
