Voices fae Victorian Dundee
About this Event
As a crossroads of industry, trade, and migration, Victorian Dundee was a city where people spoke, sang, wrote, and published in multiple languages. This event will showcase Scots and Gaelic literature in Dundee Central Library’s important collections of nineteenth-century newspapers, books, and ballads, and live performances of work from and inspired by Dundee’s literary history. Featuring a talk by Gaelic researcher Nicky Macrimmon and poetry performances by Taylor Dyson and Mark Richardson.
