About this Event
WomenWise is a capacity-building project to improve treatment and research with women who misuse alcohol. The project is funded through a PCORI grant to the Mayo Clinic Health System.
The project includes Partnered Learning Sessions (PLS), a collaborative approach where participants engage in group discussions to achieve shared learning objectives. A PLS aims to identify future research areas concerning alcohol misuse among women.
We are hosting a PLS on Thursday, November 20, 2025. We are seeking up to 10 female attendees who specialize in alcohol dependence treatment. Attendees will learn about patient-centered comparative effectiveness research, and will share their experiences on challenges female patients and/or providers face in alcohol treatment and research.
This 90-minute session will be held from 6:00-7:30pm CT on Zoom. Attendees will receive a $150 cash card in thanks for their time.
To allow broader attendance from the local community, registration will be open to Mayo Clinic providers at a later date.
