Victoria Launch for Cross-Country Natural Products Protection Tour

The Natural Health Product Protection Association (NHPPA) is kicking off its Charter of Health Freedom Tour on October 4 in Victoria before starting a monumental journey to Parliament.

At the heart of the tour is the delivery to Parliament of a petition supporting the Charter of Health Freedom which has already gathered over 147000 signatures — making it the third-largest paper petition in Canadian history.

The launch in Victoria will include a speaker lineup including NHPPA President Shawn Buckley Health Practitioners & Guests sharing their personal health stories expertise and insights. The public is invited to attend at United Commons 932 Balmoral Road (Quadra at Balmoral) on Oct. 4 at 6:30 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm with pre-activities and sponsors fair). It can also be watched online.

This petition calls on Parliament to support the Health Charter which seeks to protect Canadians’ right to access natural and traditional remedies while ensuring the federal government makes regulatory decisions in the public interest. It will arrive on Parliament Hill in late October.

During the tour NHPPA will broadcast the World’s Greatest Health Show — the largest health event ever held in Canada. The show (online and in person) is expected to bring Canadians together through stories education and advocacy.

This will be a unique health event where ordinary citizens share their own health journeys alongside expert panels — creating a unique grassroots perspective on the importance of protecting natural and traditional health choices.
