Veterans at the Elawa Farm Specialty Crop Program

Join The Evanston Vet Center at the Elawa Farm to learn about locally grown vegetables. Together we will explore how to increase access and enjoy the best seasonal vegtables grown right here in the Midwest.

This is an interactive event sponsored by the USDA Speciality Crop Grant Program.

Together we will harvest, wash, prep, cook and communally enjoy our meal, Come achieve greater knowledge, control and enjoyment over the local and healthy foods available to us.

There will be 4 dates (attend all, some, just one, whatever works for you!)

June 22nd-3pm-6-pm, July 20th-3pm-6pm, August 24th-3pm-6pm & September 21st-3pm-6pm.

Spots are limited, so please RSVP sooner then later on Event brite or to [email protected]. Veteran family and friends welcome! Children welcome and must be accompanied by adult.
