Vernissage, An Exhibition Preview Series
Founded in 1998, the ENID collective is an organization of women sculptors who gather and exhibit in celebration of the Louisville native, esteemed sculptor, and early women’s advocate Enid Yandell (1869-1934). The 2026 exhibition at KMAC features over 20 artists from diverse backgrounds and different stages of their careers, including works by the late artists Sarah Frederick, Ewing Fahey, and Jeanne Dueber. Ranging in media from bronze, ceramic, glass, wood, and stone carving, the exhibition also includes artists working in mixed-media collage, assemblage, installation using unconventional materials, and video.
