Gallery Grab - Night 1 ($100 Level)

Our signature summer event is an art gala like no other—and attracts artists, collectors and enthusiasts from all over Kentuckiana. There are two Gallery Grab events, July 15 ($100 ticket) and July 16 ($250 ticket). Each ticket level guarantees each guest a door prize worth at least the value of their ticket … up to $25,000! These door prizes include fine art, jewelry, gift cards, auction baskets, and more, all staged in a gallery you can “steal” from. When your ticket number is called, you dash to the gallery to grab the door prize you love most! Everyone walks away a winner.

This event is a fun, fast-paced gala. Dress is artsy and casual. You may want to wear your best running shoes as you dash to the gallery!

Champagne and hors d'oeuvres are complimentary. A cash bar is also provided. Free (but limited) parking is available, as well as on-street parking near Caldwell Hall at Magnolia Avenue and St. James Court. The Conrad-Caldwell House will be open for tours during this event, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Proceeds from this annual event cover the cost of security and permits for our 2026 show, which in turn allows more of the annual SJCAS funds we raise to be passed along to the local neighborhood associations and Old Louisville nonprofits we support every year. Your dollars build community, broaden services, and even make an impact on the individual level, including funding scholarships for Louisville's up-and-coming art students. Thank you!
