Velkomin á sumarnámskeið í Norræna húsinu!
Börn á aldrinum 8-12 ára eru velkomin á ókeypis sumarnámskeið í Norræna húsinu.
Námskeiðið er innblásið af sýningum hússins- með áherslu á leynilegt líf skordýra, myndlist og náttúru. Við munum einnig uppgötva undarleg skordýr á borð við Bessadýr (tardigrate) sem finnast nánast í öllum vistkerfum jarðar, allt frá mosaþembu regnskóganna og alla leið norður í íshaf. Bessadýr geta lifað af við erfiðar aðstæður - meirað segja lifa þau af geimferð!
Þátttakendur fá tækifæri til að vinna með mismunandi prenttækni, málningu og klippimyndir og njóta umhverfis Norræna hússins sem og sýninga.
Kennari vinnustofunnar er Estelle Pollaert, franskur listamaður og myndskreytir sem býr og starfar í Reykjavík. Estelle vinnur einnig í þjónustuteymi Norræna hússins og kannast eflaust margir við hana þaðan! Estelle hefur reynslu af kennslu á ensku, frönsku og íslensku.

Welcome to a summer workshop in the Nordic house!
Children ages 8-12 years old are welcome to a free summer workshop at the Nordic house.
The workshop is inspired by the exhibitions in the house - with focus on life in soil, insects, art and nature. We will also discover strange animals like tardigrate who can survive in extreme circumstances. Children get the chance to work with different printing techniques, paint and collage and enjoy the Nordic house surroundings as well as exhibitions.
The teacher Estelle Pollaert is a French multidisciplinary artist based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Her art is playful, colorful and makes us smile everyday we encounter them! Estelle has experience teaching to Children’s in English, French and Icelandic.

The workshop is free and will take place from the Tuesday 16th of June until Friday 19th of June. Please note that there is no workshop on the 17th of June.
