Nemendur í meistaranámi í Listum og velferð við Listaháskóla Íslands eru breiður hópur fagfólks sem hefur áhuga á að þróa leiðir til að nýta listir í þágu félags- og heilsueflingar ásamt því að auka aðgengi og þátttöku ólíkra hópa í listtengdum verkefnum og viðburðum. Á dagskrá verða meðal annars örverk, kynningar á listrannsóknum og tilraunir. Fagfólk sem starfar að velferðarmálum er sérstaklega hvatt til að mæta.
Dagskrárvaldið er í höndum nemenda sem hafa sótt námskeiðið Samfélag, listir og líðan undir handleiðslu Hrefnu Lindar Lárusdóttur sviðslistakonu og Dr. Sigrúnar Sigurðardóttur. Ítarlegri upplýsingar um listamennina og verkefnin þeirra má finna á listahatid.is.
Viðburðurinn er partur af dagskrá Klúbbs Listahátíðar í Reykjavík. Þar eru allir viðburðir ókeypis og öll velkomin. Klúbbur Listahátíðar í Reykjavík er í Iðnó og er opinn alla daga fram á kvöld 30. maí - 14. jún.

Students from the Master's program in Arts and Welfare at the Iceland Academy of the Arts are a diverse group of professionals who are interested in developing ways to use the arts for the benefit of society and wellnes, as well as improving access and increasing participation by different groups in art projects and events.
The program will include short pieces and experiments as well as presentations of research.
Professionals working in the welfare sector are especially encouraged to attend.
The program is organized by students who have taken the course Society, Arts and Wellbeing under the guidance of performance artist Hrefna Linda Lárusdóttir and Dr. Sigrún Sigurðardóttir. More information about the artists and their projects can be found on the Reykjavík Arts Festival website listahatid.is.
The event is part of the Festival Hub programme at the Reykjavík Arts Festival. All events are free of charge, and everyone is welcome. The Festival Hub takes place at Iðnó and is open daily from 30 May to 14 June, until the evening.
