𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯.
𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨:
• Frame your body with the veil
• Gently hold the veil, while providing appropriate tension
• Accentuate slow and sinewy movements
• Travel and turn with the veil
• Perform exciting moves like halo wraps (when fast, I call them cyclones!)

Open to all levels. Experienced students will be given more advanced challenges. Because veils are voluminous, this workshop has limited space. Register early!

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭/𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥:
• 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜: Silk or very light chiffon that is soft and not stiff
• 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: 3 yards of 44" fabric (not 60"); if you're tall, 4 yards is better
• 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 from a fabric store or legitimate online seller like bellydance.com or missbellydance.com
• Do not purchase veils with trim around the edges!
