VALENTINE'S DAY SIP & SEW: HEART SHAPED TOTE BAG

Join us for this extra special beginner sewing class where we will teach you how to sew a heart shaped tote bag that you get to decorate afterwards! We will provide everything you need to make & decorate your tote including fabric, appliques, ribbons, buttons, paints and more. Plus, there will be some snacks, drinks, & music to enjoy while you work on your one of a kind tote!

*Please note you need to have some sewing machine experience to take this class*

Students will:

• Cut, sew, and decorate a heart shaped tote bag;
• Learn sewing vocabulary, including sewing machine parts and apparel construction terminology;
• work on Janome HD-3000 and School Mate 7330 straight-stitch home sewing machines and Janome and Babylock home sergers.
• Learn basic techniques to create sewn products, including how to pin and cut fabric and order of operations for construction; and
• Receive a complimentary Rightfully Sewn sewing pattern to continue sewing at home.
