Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. It can be used to heal yourself, loved ones, pets, and much more. The attunement itself can be a profoundly healing experience.
Reiki Level 1 is a foundational course and the most important of all levels of Reiki training. It’s open to everyone, no experience is required. Beginners to Reiki and Seasoned bodyworkers will benefit equally.
In this Reiki Level 1 Training and Certification in Santa Monica you will receive:
-Level 1 Attunement and learn how to practice Reiki on yourself.
-Experience, learn, and practice utilizing Reiki energy for your personal wellbeing.
-Learn and integrate basic HeartMath practices to awaken your heart, enabling you access divine Reiki energy within.

-Exploration of what Reiki practice is, what it isn’t, and how to practice.
-History and origins of Reiki practice, including it’s journey from Japan to the West.
-On-going group practice and discussion.
-Ethics of practice.
-Help and support to incorporate Reiki practice into your everyday life.
-Access to teacher support both in and out of class.
-Basic HeartMath Coherence Breathing and Heart Lockin techniques
-1 attunement (initiation)
-Journal and manual for each student
-Reiki level I certification upon completion of the course
In Reiki Level I, students are led through a step-by-step discovery of the practice, beginning with the concept that we are all capable of moving towards a state of balance and wellness. Primarily facilitated through gentle touch, we practice helping create this space for ourselves and others.
What to expect:
The class is a combination of lecture, gentle kundalini stretch and movement, HeartMath practices for heart awakening, heart activation meditation, discussion, demonstration, attunement and practice time. Each student experiences giving and receiving a complete treatment using the hand placement system. Practice time is given using Reiki I.
A 33 page class manual and a professional quality certificate are included in the class price.
