WHAT IS KAP?
Kundalini Activation Practice (KAP) is a profound form of energy work which has the potential to induce transcendent states of awareness, as well as facilitate deep personal healing.
It is a lineage-based initiation onto a path of spiritual growth through Kundalini activity, the process of energetic bio-spiritual transformation in the human body that leads to spiritual development and evolution.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A KAP SESSION?
You lie down on a yoga mat. Some music is played. The facilitator touches, presses or directs energy towards some of the chakras or meridian points on your body. That's it…on the surface. What happens on the inside is a totally different story!
All expressions of a Kundalini Awakening can occur during the process. Spontaneous movements often arise accompanied by the sensation of energy moving through the body. Some reflect that it can be a cathartic experience providing deep insights and realizations while others may report arriving at bliss states or expanded levels of consciousness. With continued exposure, a profound rewiring of the brain structure and central nervous system occurs supporting deeper integration of the energy in your daily life. During a session, every “symptom” or sign of a kundalini awakening, from the earliest signs of subtle energy flow to the later end manifestations of embodied, non-dual states of being, are regularly observed in participants.
This is an energy transmission, not a self-generated process, meaning you only need to lay back, relax, and receive in order to benefit from the practice.
It is the path of surrender (not a path of the will) that creates the unique possibility for healing, higher states of consciousness and a deeper connection to that which transcends mind and matter.
PREPARATION
We suggest you refrain from consuming alcohol, meat, and other heavy foods prior to the session. Eat only lightly or not at all before the session, for a more potent experience.
It is very important that you avoid plant medicines, and other kinds of altering substances including alcohol for at least 48 hours before the session.
Please wear comfortable clothing!
Bring your own yoga mat, as the space does not supply mats. If you are traveling, and unable to bring a mat, please request one from the faciliator prior to class.
There are no pre-requisites and anyone who feels called to attend is welcome.
AFTER EFFECTS
You may feel the energy for the next couple of days. The movements that got started in class can continue. Pay attention to any internal changes and give yourself space to process and be with whatever may move as a result of the practice.
You may become more sensitive and feel more connected to your inner being. Many people report experiencing clarity and insights, and self awarenesses that lead to positive change.
It’s important in the following days to be aware of your energy levels and to listen to what your body is asking of you. For example, you may need more rest, or crave different foods, dreams can differ, or sleep can become deeper. The after effects vary amongst individuals.
Over time, opening of the kundalini field removes internal obstacles to greater spiritual awareness. The positive impact affects your material life and facilitates the attainment of higher states of consciousness with continual practice.
Please Note
While KAP is safe and helps facilitate a natural process of energetic development, it is not an appropriate modality for those who experience mania, paranoia, delusion, or psychosis.
Mixing plant medicines and other psycho-active substances with KAP is not recommended, and can lead to unecessarly difficult experiences of intensity.
When KAP is practiced as designed, with a sober body and mind, it is a very gentle, gradual and well-integrated path towards greater self awareness and possible Self realization.
YOUR FACILITATOR:
Alexandra Michelle is a transmission teacher whose work is based on the values of love and liberation.
She is a mentor, healer; published author, Reiki Master Teacher, and accredited KAP Facilitator. Her approach is direct yet compassionate; practical yet joyful.
Alexandra trained with Venant Wong and Sigrid Brelid, founders of KAP (kundalini activation process, to become one of the first facilitators in the US.
Her additional training to facilitate direct energetic awareness through a Toltec lineage transmission translates through her unique KAP frequency, sometimes activating the ability to see and perceive energy.
Alexandra is uniquely qualified to assist those navigating the dynamic path of spiritual awakening and transformation; she offers her signature mentorship programs to those individuals ready to reach a space of stable emotional well being and expanded mystical awareness.
Fee: $50 per class
Each class lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
REFUND POLICY:
Refunds requested within 48 hours advance notice of the event will be issued for any reason. Within 48 hours, refunds will be given on a case by case basis. Please get in touch with Alexandra at [email protected] as soon as possible if you need assistance with anything.
