About this Event
Opera FANTASTICA Class
THEME: Opera-Palooza!
Students will learn a variety of arias and opera choruses ~~
Songs and Scenes from beloved operas:
La Boheme, Hansel and Gretel, Turandot, & Pinocchio
These will be performed at end-of-class for parents and friends,
and there will be an opportunity to perform at the Children's Opera Festival, March 23, 2025 in DTLA, a community-wide event presenting an "opera kaleidoscope for kids"!
Class is taught by qualified and experienced Opera singers and Voice instructors in the Greater LA area.
Expertise in staging and sets is led by local Opera producer and staff from Opera Italia ~ Los Angeles.
Guest musicians and storytellers come to certain class meetings, and engage students to imagine their own opera stories and songs.
