Join Kathryn Jones from Trailing K9s and Kevin Motion from Borders Mantrailing & Scent Training
On the 16th and 17th November we'll be running two whole days of mantrailing. Instead of an evening of theory in person we will join you on Zoom talking about the days mantrailing and also voice over some of the videos to explain the analysis on them. This allows you to re watch the videos again.
This workshop is aimed at teams consistently on a scent article start and wanting to work on progressing their team skills with experienced instructors and coaches.
This is about coaching teams for success.
The location is to be confirmed and details will be released closer to the event for those attending.
Kevin completed his Instructors course in 2019. His knowledge in dogs comes from a long background in dog training and scent sports, as well as working in rescue for ten years. Kevin has coached many teams to success and is an experienced Mantrailer.
Kathryn is an experienced instructor also passing in 2029, she trails with her Springer Spaniel and uses her background as behaviourist to progress teams and create more understanding.
This event is open to students and instructors who have completed their equivalent of Level 1 (you do not need to have completed the assessment to join this workshop) or are ready to do and are aiming to do their Level 2 and above. We are aiming to run longer trails over 600m in urban environments. No dogs under 12 months old.
This will be three trails per day focusing on length and complexity of trail. You will work with one instructor per day.
Unlimited tea/coffee and cake is included both days, please bring your own lunch.
9am til 5pm Approx we may finish earlier.
The cost is £250 per handler
£100 deposit can be taken and then the further £150 to be paid 8 weeks prior to the course.
Saturday will be in Oswestry town and Sunday in Shrewsbury/Wrexham depending on location access TBC
Please bring your own lunch. Snacks and hot drinks will be provided.
